Our vision of a city where LGBTQ+ asylum seekers are welcomed, supported, and affirmed as their most authentic selves starts with some of the first people they meet in their community. As part of our housing program, LGBTQ+ asylum seekers will be introduced to 2-3 Welcome Circle volunteers who can serve as guides to their new community. 

Who are we looking for as a volunteer ? 

• Individuals who are part of the LGBTQ+ or asylum seeker community in Philadelphia.

• Individuals who have a strong connection to local community service providers.

• Individuals who have experience working with or are part of immigrant communities themselves.
